The new TV drama that caught my eyes these few weeks was 败犬女王. What does it means? It means women over 30s who are successful in their career and single. In the story, she falls for a guy who is younger than her by 8 years old and she had to work out issues that are revolving around the huge gap.

Yes I know, no idea why recently I have been encountering such movies, shows or articles. The Proposal, the article in Her World and now this show. It just makes me ponder over it. I think it's seriously getting popular now, this whole "older women dating younger men" thing. Of course, it pays to have the older woman still looking great in her 30s, looking much younger than her age, slim and pretty.

In the show, Cheryl Yang was always labelled by people as an "old woman", "younger girls are more desirable as they have better skin and charm", "dried up prune", "witch", "not desirable". It's sad to see her being labelled as that. You know, there may come a day where people may call me that too. I'm not that young anymore and I'm still single. Yes, the younger girls definitely beat you when it comes to men. Even at my age, men around my age or slightly older are looking at girls who are below 26. Older men likes younger women, so women like us, what do we do?

One day, I may foresee myself becoming a 败犬 too, single and only have a career. If it's you, will you extend your social circle of men to younger guys and also consider them? Well, I don't know. It's really hard. They are like babies hahaha and I'm still a kidult. It's hard to babysit them. Perhaps, one day, if I really am desperate or maybe that younger man can touched my heart, perhaps I will consider?

I've caught the Proposal recently on Friday with Sharon, Shanice and Jeremiah. I was so totally looking forward to this movie when I saw the trailer. It did not fail to disappoint me for I was relish in the laughter of the comedy. I love Sandra Bullocks and Ryan Reynolds. Easy on the eyes, great acting and looks cute together. I love Gammy the most though, for she is one cute old lady. Ryan's mom spurred me to think on that if I was to age gracefully, I hope I look as great as her. Slim and pretty. The show was actually talking about an older woman dating a younger guy which made me remembered an article that I read recently.

I read an article recently about older women dating younger men, like about 10 years and greater in age difference. It makes me really wonder, I find it really hard to date a guy who is like more than 2 years younger than me, let alone 10 years? Is it because I'm not old enough? I do find myself enjoying the company of younger guys at times, for they make you feel happier with their simple mind. However, to date and settle down with them seems impossible. It worries me for I am getting old and I am still single. Perhaps one day, I might become one of them too and I will be labelled as a cradle snatcher. Personally, I don't find that they are cradle snatcher. Love crosses boundaries, there is no such thing as age limit. However, to each of their own values, sometimes I find it a bit hard to accept younger guys, basically because they are not matured enough and not stable enough yet.

Terrible weekend for I was sick the whole weekend. Didn't go out much except to Grandpa's house for dinner on Saturday night and to Shawn's house on Sunday to pay respects to our late Grandma. Even at Shawn's house, I was sleeping away cause I was feeling too sick.

On yeah, on a side note, I caught The Hangover too, also with Sharon and her bf. It was a great show. I didn't wanted to watch it initially cause I didn't knew any of the actors. I was glad I watched it though for it was so funny and the plot is so great that I enjoyed it alot. I admired that Stu finally had the courage to break up with Melissa after dating so long together. I could feel for him for I had been in the same situation before. It is so not easy to break up after dating so long together. What makes it worse was the person who broke up with you is a heartless person who couldn't be bothered about you. I ever thought I will still remain as friends with him but seems like he didn't want so. Perhaps he is more ashamed of himself than I was. Thank goodness for that, for I am not ashamed of what I did.

It's been a great weekend so far! Been to some new places, met up some old classmates and had tons of fun with family!

Friday
Went out with Shawn and Min to Causeway Point for dinner then headed off to Marina Square to catch a movie with V. Caught "where got ghost" but I don't really like it. I do admit I laughed alot in the theatre but I find the plot and graphics really terrible. Headed off to visit V's office then to Esplanade.

Saturday
Met up with XW and Ting, and also Xiuhua! YL came by too as well. It is so nice to see them again and we had lunch at Xin Wang's cafe at Yew Tee as well as gave each other belated birthday presents. XW's stomach is really getting bigger. 2 more months and a new baby boy will be born. Went to Latricia's house awhile before heading off to Grandpa's house for dinner. Caught Cyril's magician show on dvd, which was brought over by Gerald. Finished off my night gaming on L4D with my cousin and cute people who are nice in Garena.

Sunday
Headed off to a new place with my family, Poison Ivy/Bollywood Veggies. My first time being there. Saw it on Makansutra before and I was keen to go. Finally got to go there. We toured around the plantation and went around taking funny photos and doing funny stunts. Then we headed off for late lunch, early dinner at the cafe. The servings were real small but quite filling to eat a few different variety of dishes. Plus we also get to choose brown rice which is much more healthier! The lady boss is really nice and friendly and she chit chatted with us. I love the taste of the food. I find it really tasty and you don't have a sense of guilt eating it as it's really healthy!

Found a new job over at TTSH too. So gotta start work once I clear my medical check up. I still miss IMH. I wish I can go back but I guess perhaps it's not for now since no vacancies. I shall work harder in TTSH and hopefully find what I want eventually.

It was a long weekend last week and I had been out having fun with different groups of people. Last Friday, it was Mommy's birthday so we went out to Causeway point to have Ajisen Ramen with Shawn and Min. Then we went shopping around, collected our cake and went to Grandpa's house in the evening to have dinner with the rest of the family. I really love the cake that I bought. Coco Exotic from Four Leafs. It has like a waffle layer to it and mousse chocolate around. So nice!

On Saturday, I went out with my friend to ION to walk around. That was the second time I went to ION and got to see more things this time round. Had some fluffy looking cake bought from the basement which comes with char siew. They even have like mango curry! Got to try Chippy Beer batter fish too! It's so nice yeah! I really miss the fried Mars balls though but I guess I shall get my cousins to eat it with me one day.

Went for Hsbc Tree Top walk on Sunday with Aunt Jenny and family, Shawn and Min. Gosh, it was even harder to climb than the Henderson's Wave trail. So many steep slopes and by the time I got to the tree top walk, I was like half dead. The tree top walk was really nice, very high up there, breezy and tranquil. It's also very tall and scary! It made me remembered the times that I went to Tree Top walk in Albany in Western Australia. Those were the days. After I got home, I was so tired, I slept for a few hours and the effects lasted over to the next day too. Guess really lacking stamina now.

Played badminton with my cousins on Monday evening followed by dinner. Haha, I know it probably doesn't sound as exciting as how others spent their long weekends but I'm happy for mine already! I had fun and I am contented.
