Another hazy fuzzy week, I couldn't remember what happened through the week at all, except during the weekends. Ah, it's weekends you see, the most exciting part of the whole week. I did rem that I went to NUH on Wed for a bazaar sales though.

Official opening of Barista Express in Clifford Centre on Sat morning. Stood there for so many hours till my feet ache. Pretty exciting to see that there are new prospects for patients to work out in the community though. Pretty exciting aspect that I will be doing training for them, something really not very clinical of my job scope.

Went to this very special tea room in Esplande with Xw and Cy in the evening. It's called V tea room. I love the vintage setting! Matches my vintage shoes alot yeah, but I wasn't wearing it that day. It's so lovely, except for the flaw in the ceiling. Nothing is perfect in the world though so it's good enough to have the rest of the cafe looking pretty chic.

Frequented K box today after ages of karaoke-ing. Unbelievable, I'm gg to sing again tmr, to celebrate Krisie's bday. It's like ages since I see Binks? Still looks the same, not much diff from sch days. Ironically was that, most of the ppl there are JJcians huh (and we probably didn't like JJC alot) and we somehow are one way or another link to one another.

There are days where u totally lost the flair for something. I think I lost the flair to blog nowadays, to be in touch with my feelings. Sheesh, I muz be real tired. An advice to you people out there, better get enough slp else u will become like me.

If you like to watch movies on dancing, catch "Take the Lead". It's about ballroom dancing and it's real nice. Last I saw a movie about dance was "Shall We Dance" and that was real nice too.

I had my pieces of cheesy lava pizza at Pizza Hut with my best bud this week. I swear that Cheese is the most heavenly food ever made and produced. I could finished eating up all the cheesy part of the pizza rather than the main ingredients. However, you got to know that, I can't stand cheesy pasta for gawd sake. It's really too cheesy for my cup of tea. I can eat anything cheesy except cheesy pasta, and that's the only thing I will try to avoid ordering it.

Had a bbq at West Coast with my colleagues on Saturday. Last time I went there was 1 and 1/2 years ago and fortunately, I rem the route to the park. Jamil bought some really powerful jelly that could light up and get the fire going among the charcoal in 5 minutes! That is way better than those fire starters! There was so much food, and it's such a waste that we had to give it away. It rained halfway when we were bbqing away so we had to pack up and hide in the shelter. That was really weird because when we arrived there, it was like mad hot. So hot till I wanna hide in the shelter too.

I demonstrated to my fella colleagues on how to bbq marshmellows, gawd they din even know how to bbq marshmellows!! They were like "What are we supposed to observe for?". Ate a lot and so much till my stomach was bloated. Oh, you know, we actually drank from bowls. My colleague bought drinks but forgot to buy cups so in the end, we had to use bowls to collect the drinks. That was so funny cuz we acted like we were ancient Chinese men, drinking wine from bowls. The best part was this colleague was late for 2 hours plus and by then we were so thirsty, so when he reached, we stood up and started clapping real loud for him. Oh, and he actually had the fire starters with him. Luckily we had that powerful jelly, else we will have to wait 2 hours later b4 we could start bbqing.

I saw my cutesy cousins too! Was so happie that they came to my house to watch Nanny Mcphee. I missed them soooo much! Gerald boy's birthday is coming soon, gotta buy present and celebrate for him.

May is such a horrible month. So many ppl having their birthday in that month. I am gg to be real broke yeah. Till then, bless me with good saving skills, else I will be a penniless person for this month.

Tristan and Isolde, a story b4 Romeo and Juliet.

Seriously, Romeo and Juliet stories are not my cup of tea. True that it's written by Shakespeare and I like Shakespeare but that does not means Romeo and Juliet lookalike stories appeal to me.

I was forced, or rather not, I went willingly with my cousin, to watch Tristan and Isolde, given that I was really bored staying at home. I sat through about 2hours of the show with moments of fidgety and laughter. Hur hur, it's a love and sad story I know, or may I'm juz sadistic to laugh at it cuz I dun experience love myself but seriously, it was kinda boring. Typical love story, heroine falls in love with hero, she gets to marry the hero's benefactor, they secretly have an affair and got discovered, the kind benefactor lets them go, the hero wants to be a hero and thus return back to help the benefactor, and the hero dies and the heroine goes missing. So typical rite?

C'mon, it's already advertised as a story b4 Romeo & Juliet. I kinda expected tat either party will die or both will die. Turns out that the guy dies only. I even know that the plot will be like wat I have written above from the trailer. Seriously, if you are juz looking for some movie that you can ooohh and ahhh at the lead actors and actresses, or juz some love story, den you can watch it, otherwise dun waste your time and money.

Btw, do you watch that losers variety show on Channel U? Geez, I dunno why they came up with such a variety show. True enough that it is to encourage those individuals whom have persistently participated in alot of competitions yet failed but seriously, it's like a comedy for the public. I dunno how the contestants feel, perhaps they will be happy but I feel sorrie for them. Everytime whenever I laugh at their performance or saw the audience's suppressed laughter, I really feel sad for them. I know their spirit should be admired but their performance are really funny. You will be agreeing why they actually get kick out from competitions given that their performance ability is like zero.

And you know that guy who strips naked in his website and sells manicure services on Orchard Road? Gosh, I'm utterly disgusted by him. Seriously does he thinks that he is some kinda hunk of watsover? Because the fact is he is so totally not! If he's gg to act all hunky and handsome again, I think I will probably puke in front of the TV.

I rather it was me who participated in this show cuz I may be a loser but I look presentable enough and my voice dun sucks that badly (it may sucks but I believe it is in the higher end of sucks) and I dun think my washing board figure is that bad compared to the others. At least, I was a higher end loser.

Of cuz, I dun wanna be a loser. I juz wanna be average and nice, the kind that you are so plain and nice that no one notices you, and I assure you, I'm pretty good at that. Dun they have variety shows that are for averages? Like you know Average Joe that kinda show? Plain and average ppl that get hitch up with pretty girls. Or plain and average ppl that get a chance to shine that kind? Not that I wanna participate in it cuz my goal is juz to be invisible and blend in with the crowd. But you know, there should be shows to let the averages shine. The TV only portrays the really physically outstanding ppl or the not physically outstanding ppl but with outstanding abilities. What about those neither physically or ability outstanding ppl?

If I'm the media, I will seriously consider this cuz then there will be a chance for average ppl to have the limelight finally.

P.S.: I'm a plain jane or rather plain Shirley. Plain is so boring.

What kind of genius would answer a question like this?

Qn: Do you prefer local or foreign guys?

Ans: I prefer local guys as my ex are all locals.

Geez, dun she have better brains than that to answer that? Please do not generalise us OTs as equivalent to her as we are so much better than her. Maybe not in terms of looks and physical built wise, but in terms of brains wise. Lastly, please do not always use OT to publicize yourself. We all know that your OT work is not as honourable as what you think.

Sharon, if u have seen wat I had seen, I bet you will laugh your head off.

Company's event today! Went to Hay Dairies Goat Farm, Qian Xu Fish Farm and Oh Farms (vegetable farm). Yes, I know, why am I gg to farms? It's so weird rite? Only aunties and uncles will go rite? Yes, you are totally rite...it was only aunties and uncles but I had an enjoyable time, doing something that I dun usually do.

It was pretty interesting actually. Went to the goat farm and heard about how goat milk is being produced and witness goats being milked by machines. Learned more facts about goat milk too. For e.g., goat milk is alkaline and it's real good for ppl with sinus and asthma...so actually it's good for me; the milking area of the goat is called udder and not breasts, and that the female goats' holes are melted away by the goat farmers when they are still young. The milk tasted horrible though. It didn't have this goaty smell where most ppl think they will have. Btw, you cannot exposed goat milk in room temp at least up to 4 hours cuz it will turn sour. Tat probably explains why those goat milk in supermarket taste weird. I only remember that 3/4 through drinking the bottle of goat milk, I felt like puking and I gave the remainder to my fren.

Nothing much about the fish farms becuz I dun like fishes. Not an ardent fan of rearing and eating fish as well. Browse through all the aquariams and the unbelievable prices of the fishes quickly.

All I cud rem about the vegetable farm was that it was real hot, like as if I was in Malaysia. It was a hydrophonics farms so everything is grown in water. I did managed to rem some facts though such as basil can be used for headache, italian parsley can be used for hair growth and it's roots as laxatives, and that rosemary is useful for slimming. Other than tat, I was too busy fanning away and hiding from the sun. The vegetables were really nice and fresh though. Got free vegetables from the farm. Too bad I had to go out after that and I have to give my vege away. Sigh, now I feel like eating yummy vege.

Had my eyebrow done today again. This time, it was less painful as compared to the first time that I did it. Saw blood too but this time I wasn't really bothered by the pain and blood. Guess I had a previous painful experience which nothing can compared to. Funny thing was tat I discovered that there is even lip contouring and eyeliner contouring in beauty salons now. Tat goes to say that make up can be permanently mark on your face.

Watched Ice Age 2 with Kris & Co. HILARIOUS! I was ashamed initially that I am gg to watch a kiddo show but now I'm not ashamed to announce that I actually enjoyed the show alot! Haven't laughed so much recently. This week has been real good cuz I'm laughing alot. Saw the gazzet for "Over the Hedge" and "The Wild" too. Really like the porcupine, turtle and koala in those 2 cartoons. Looks so cute and funnie! Nevertheless, my fav is still Chicken Little and nothing can beat him! Despite the show was a lil dumb and not really tat funny, he is cute enough to steal the whole limelight away.

Seriously, it was a good week and I had a good time. Can I have more good times? Pls be kind to me and grant my wishes...it has decreased to such a minimal amount and I no longer pray for it to come true either. Perhaps, surprises will be real good.
