My computer has yet to be fixed as I'm too lazy to bother about it hence the blogging has become very inconsistent. A week of leave has gone past. Did nothing much except resting and relaxing that's all.

First Valentine that I actually have a date, I spent it at home with my parents and him playing mahjong, ahahaha, you must be wondering how romantic is that right? Well my bf doesn't have much of any romantic instinct within him, hence you can't really blame that my V day has to be celebrated in such a manner. In fact, we didn't even celebrated it. Anyway I'm nv a hype for V day as I have never celebrated V day before, owing to the fact that I always break up before V days, except twice, both which I should say could be unfortunate incident. The first being that I have to leave for Ozzie the next day and I was told that we are breaking up because of that and the second was nice, but the dude turned out to be weird and scary. So be it that Zhu is not romantic at all, at least he was present that day and until now he's still my bf and he is sane and not weird.

Celebrated Denise's birthday on Friday at Siam Kitchen. Caught up a bit with the girls. Krisie's tummy could be seen a bit now but still very small. Azi brought her hubby along and showed us the pretty photos of her wedding.

Had a gathering on Sunday at my house. Two in fact, one for my friends and one for my family. Cy, Xw and Ting came over with their respective partners for a steamboat prepared by my family. Too bad they have to go off early so it ended quite shortly. Hope they have enjoyed themselves, would like love to do more though. My family members came over later and we played badminton, have dinner and laugh together through a very ancient Chinese movie that I have loaned.

Soon, after that my leave ended and I was supposed to be back at work, with the exception that I actually fell sick and was stalled for another two more days. I have a flu and sore throat, which was gone but days afterwards, just like on Friday, I started coughing. Sianz sianz, zhu has also caught the flu bug and fell sick too.

Anyway, rebonded my hair on Friday with CY, served by a good stylist. Shocked to hear that my ex stylist was no longer there due to some unpleasant incidents. Strange, she seemed nice. Had a very good supper afterwards at Wan Tou Sek, very nice dim sum and porridge, yummy yummy.

Caught Fool's Gold with Min today, very funny and stupid show, a bit lame but okay if you treat it as a laugh it off show only.

Oh yeah, I have gotten 2 very cute lil plush toys, lilo and the gf, with super big cute eyes!!! Courtesy of Zhu, thank yeah! Shall take pices and show you next time, so cute yeah!!!

Happy CNY to all of you!

There are many firsts for this CNY. First time actually having a half day at work for CNY (Previously it fell on Saturday and Sunday so I nv got to have half day at work!), first time eating reunion dinner at someone's house besides my family, first time celebrating CNY with Zhu and first time having Lion Dance over at my house.

Time really flies fast, last year, we didn't celebrate CNY and we were missing one family member, this year life seemed to have moved on although we will still remember the lost one by heart.

Surprisingly, when I was alone last year, everyone kept asking me to get married soon. This year, with Zhu around, no one seemed to be asking me to get married (except Aunt Annie whom briefly mentioned). Haha lucky escape, I am so glad I don't have to hear the usual "Hope you get married soon blah blah blah" wishes for CNY.

Had reunion dinner with Zhu's family on CNY eve. I usually spent it having with my grandpa and uncles as I have no where to go usually and this year I got to spend it with someone significant, which is good.

Then visited grandpa's house, Zhu's house and eldest uncle's house on CNY first day, and off to second uncle's house on 2nd day and fifth aunt's house on third day. Been eating and eating for the past 3 days. Steamboat, delicious fried rice, duck meat, pao, bak kut teh, dinner at Westlake and many more CNY goodies. It's time to diet!!! Exercise alot while I'm on leave cause I know I will get lazy when I go back to work.

The most interesting thing I have experienced was the Lion Dance at my house. My dad has invited a group of lion dancers to my house on the 2nd day of CNY. We never had it before and we weren't sure how it was like. The moment it came into our house, it headed straight for my room (thank goodness I have packed my room). It then went into everyone's room and then it started peeling mandarin oranges and shredding lettuce in the living room, throwing it all around the house. It was noisy, but it was fun, and it was certainly a new experience been through.

Guess Zhu must have been very tired accompanying me around for the past few days. Thanks Zhu! He's busy scolding vulgarities now as his fishes has died, and his plants are floating around in the tank. His newly built tank is now disintegrating which is why he's screaming away. Poor Zhu, hope your tank will turn out well.

And now, a week of leave for me. Happy resting!

January was an eventful month, with OT days and birthday celebrations of a few colleagues, some unfortunate incidents at work and many many busy times.

Celebrated Eunice's and Bonnie's birthdays on 16/1 and 22/1 respectively. A gang of us went out with them to have lunch at places like Ajisen and Xiao Xuan Feng at Hougang Mall. It's nice having these lunches because it also becomes a bonding and destressing session, whereby people talk crap and just laugh.

Then it was the time for another gathering for OT Office 2 people and some people from OT Office 1, which was on 25/1. We went to Serangoons Gardens for dinner and chill out at this restaurant which no one completely took note of the name, hence no one remembered. It was a nice bonding session, finding out more about each colleague and laughing together. This has kinda become our support group session and we are starting to find friends amongst these colleagues.

Cook pasta the following Sat for Zhu and invited Shawn and Ken over to Zhu's house for pasta. Been some time I have cooked, although I'm running cooking group twice a week for patients, as if me really doing it by myself and with Zhu's help, and doing it for others besides patients.

Finally managed to have dinner with Ivy on last Thursday. We went to Soup Restaurant and finally I can have my olive rice after so long. We chatted about things, and I was glad that I had dinner with her given that it's her birthday the next day and she's all alone in SG.

Celebrated Ivy's birthday on last Friday, 1/2. We went to Swensons cause I was craving for ice cream. Once again, a great lunch as it was a good turn out and everyone crap through lunch again. After work, it was dinner with the TAs and HAs, Geraldine and I treated them to dinner at Sanur. Unfortunately, stupid me forgot to reserve places at Sakura Buffet and we couldn't go there in the end, which I'm terribly guilty about the fact that I was so stupid. Luckily, it was great at Sanur too and I hope they had a great dinner.

Has reunion dinner yesterday with my family. Zhu and I were sitted at the kids tables, as usual, I'm still within the kids tables. We went to this hawker centre at Farmart, and it was a huge feast. We had sting ray (speaking of which Zhu treated me to a nice sting ray at my house there too), sotong, pork ribs, lala, mussels, tofu, vege, crab and sparrow meat. It was my first time eating quail meat and it's nice! Afterwards, we went to Gramp's house and the elder kids hang out to play cards while the younger kids, also played cards (guess they have learned it from us) and psp. It was a nice dinner. I always look forward to CNY because our whole family will gather together and it's very joyful to spend time together with the whole big family.

Saying this, it's only 3 days more to CNY, can't wait for it to come!

P.S: This was blogged from Zhu's lappy as my own modem has R.I.P.
